More sketches and a silly comic

yup, the sketches continue. I don't see them improving, per se, but I'm sure, somewhere in my brain, I've catalogued some details of anatomy that will come in handy later. Plus, it's very relaxing to draw something with zero pressure or time constraints. Got ten minutes? Pick up a pen!

As for the comic, I started filling out the Trek art meme, but decided that I failed too hard at digital, so I aborted. But not before finishing the first segment, "Have a character introduce you"

And yeah, I know it's not horrible, but I get caught up in all the tiny details and this is a cartoon, it's not SUPPOSED to have details. I'm much quicker with a pencil. I may try again, using trad media. We'll see.

Hehe, boobies. A trad media art meme would be fun :D

Hm, my favourite of the sketches is the top of the second pic, likely for the Shatner pose. And Spock doesn't always feel fresh? Good to know. *giggles*

Shatner is way to fun to draw. Actually, between him, Spock and Bones, it's great, because they each have such distinctive postures. I wouldn't have noticed had I not been drawing them so much.
