Oh God, I have really crossed a line here! *laughs maniacally*

Hmmmm I don't *think* I've ever drawn bestiality before ... unless you count werewolves and/or centaurs. or spiders or mandrake plants or dragons Okay, now that I think about it, this line was crossed quite a while ago.

Carry on!

For those of you afraid that you've lost me to an odd fandom, fear not! I have two pics in the Snape_potter fest this month, and a Snack comission that I just finshed. I'm just enamoured with the EASE OF CARTOON DIGITAL! In fact, check out my cartoon digital submission to Hump_day_smut this week!

Title: Stuck

I... could not stop giggling at the first one, because of the way those tiny little platypus hands are gripping his nose. XD COULD NOT STOP.

Oh man, so much fun!

I can't draw realistically with it to save my life, but that UNDO button is addictive!

Drawing realistically digitally just takes some practice. You could do it!

This will be the one and only time I will pimp my own work *crosses heart* but I just posted something and I had SO MUCH FUN with the whole digital color aspect of it!

So if you're in the mood for surf and Snarry you can check this out:

And yeah, "undo" is total win!

oh. my. god. They're all hysterical, but the first one is the most awesome thing ever. I can't even explain why, it just killed me. I think it's how just non-cartoony their expression are.
That said, Love Perry's expression in the second, and Arthur looks like he's just realized he's got himself stuck : D

How are you drawing these? I mean, with tablet, or..? Because I am totes jealous of your abilities (not that I wasn't jealous of your pen and paper/etc. talents before).

Yup, tablet.

I finally learned about the seekrit 'multiply layers' button. Before, I would scan the line art in, and then have to re-draw over it. I knew there was a way to keep just the lines, but not the background white, but could never figure out how it was done. My flist came to my rescue! :D

Now I'm addicted. I mean, I'm hardly about to give up traditional mediums, but I'm on such a massive learning curve right now that it's hard to stop. I also love that I get to do the line art in pen, so I don't need my laptop with me to 'create', just later on to colour. (would you believe that I drew all of these AT STARBUCKS!!!!!) Every day I take a break from work and grab a hot chocolate there, and draw for 20 min or so. With cartoons, you can accomplish A LOT in 20 min!

I just got a tablet about a month ago - but haven't really had time to play with it yet (had company, and work). But the learning curve is... huge. I can't seem to make the lines sharp, even when I'm *not* scanning an image in first (and yeah, I have no idea how to keep just the lines from a scanned image). I made this: http://bornagainsynner.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d2ygtxv
the other day, and I had to do it by doing a really rough sketch on one layer and then used the eraser tool to 'draw' it on another layer, but I can't get the detail or clean lines that I want at all. I've done outlines and scanned them in before, and I could do that now, but then I don't see the point of having a tablet...

That's awesome that you can get so much done in that short break!
