Wow. I really, really enjoyed it! Much better than i was expecting. (please see disclaimer) I have a love/hate relationship with Will Ferrell. I love him, but hate most of his movies. He was fantastic, as was the rest of the cast. I have a hate/hate relationship with jonas ...whateverthefuck his name is. He was fine, but basically played the same character that he always does.
disclaimer: I never get out and am frighteningly easily amused and entertained.


Had the oil changed on the car yesterday, and here was my hour and a half of wait time. Not a great likeness. :( But it's all done with little angled slashes. hatching, I believe is the term, whereas cross hatching would have slashes in opposite directions as well.

yeah, he was here a few months ago promoting the booze.

I met him years ago when he was here filming the Avro Arrow. I was a hairdresser on the set. He was a super nice and gracious guy. I mean, he might be a dick for realz, but he was professional, but friendlier than many 'stars' I've worked with.

I thought it was great though. I thought of slashy goodness too...there was Megaman/Metroman that would be great (so much angsty history!) Megamind/Minion because CUTE! But weird. :((

I really enjoy 'het' while watching/reading (and in rl, of course). I clapped when 'Bernard' and her kissed in the movie. I really wanted them to hook up. And yet ... when i pick up a pencil, I have no desire to draw that.

I enjoy reading Minerva/Snape yet have no desire to draw it.

I don't really enjoy reading femmslash, yet I enjoy drawing it.

I LOVE Woody/Jesse and still ... no desire to draw it.

Obviously people will (and do) look at the stuff I draw and find it gross, but to me, it's (mostly) not. It's mostly drawn with affection and humour (with the occasional pron for pron's sake).

I know what you mean about not liking Will Ferrell's movies, although your Chazz/Jimmy goodies got me to see Blades of Glory and I loved that! And I don't even think Will was funny in SNL. But Bill Murray was! I love Bill Murray, he's great! terrific drawing of him BTW.

IDEK...like I think she's a great writer, and her Sarah Palin is GOLD, but as an actress? I don't know...there's something off in her delivery, to me. And that characters eyebrows were driving me crazy! haha, oh well.

I don't really know much of his stuff because Dick Flicks don't really ever entice me to see them...like I can't remember any movies I've seen Seth Rogan in, and yet, there he is IN EVERYTHING! Or maybe I just mess those two up.

Hmmm, the last (and only) ugly, untalented fat woman that I remember was Roseanne Barr...okay, and maybe Rosie O'Donell, who I guess sometimes could be funny...back in the day.

Truth be told, much of the slash i draw, I probably wouldn't be happy with if it became Canon.

It's the tension that i like .. I think. Kind of like Whose Line. If the guys were REALLY a couple, having them drool all over each other on stage would be kind of .. gross. Like PDA, while when they're NOT a couple, it's sexier, because it's all possibilities.

I liked Mulder and Scully more before they were a couple. I probably would have drawn them, if I drew back then. Who knows???

Ha! I hate seth Rogan too! The only thing I liked him in was a cartoon where he did the voice. I can't think of what it's called, but he played a blobby alien named Bob. Oh, Monsters vs Aliens. dur. I rented Pineapple Express and had to turn it off half way through. Worst movie ever.

I'm pretty sure Megamind has Jonah (googled it) Hill. I think it bugged me that the cartoon him looked just like the real him, but creepier.

I don't want my cartoon voices to look like the real people. I'd rather just watch the real people.

Roseanne Barr was at least funny. Jonah Hill is not funny. Obviously SOMEONE likes him, since he keeps getting work.

I liked Will Ferrell on SNL, but they used him way too much. No one is funny when they're in EVERY DAMN SCENE.

I think Blades was good because it wasn't ALL WILL.

Thinking about the stuff I've drawn over the years, there are only two canon ships I've ever felt the need to do art/whatever for: one that was only touched on very, very briefly before the wife died and the guy hooked up with someone else, and Arnold/Helga from Hey Arnold, who never actually got around to hooking up. So there are still so many possibilities for both of them.

I completely agree—it's the tension that's the fun part. Especially when done well, canon tells the story for you, tension and all, but it also finishes the story as well, so there's less need for fan crafts.

I used to read Mulder/Scully before they hooked up. But even back then I was always more interested in Mulder/Krycek. ^_^ Talk about sexual tension.

Some examples of shows I've watched with canon gay couples:
Will & Grace, but I HATED who Will ended up with and therefore WAS part of the fandom and read fic.
Torchwood, and I very much liked the canon gay couple, and never joined the fandom
Nighrunner Books (a gay fantasy series), she writes these guys better than any fanfiction by far (best hook up scene ever), so while I'm in the fandom, it's for the art.

Actually, it might have the world's longest teabagging scene ever including pornos. I was really hoping no one came to my door while the scene was planning on Al's gigantic tv.
