Rejected and Accepted Snarry Games art.
Nov. 30th, 2008 04:53 pmNow that the games are over, I suppose I should post my art here! (and answer the comments there...My bad!!)
I have a friend who is kind enough to model for me. Last year, she was the Snape in my Snarry games pic. This year, she was the Harry, and her very kind (and female) roomie was the Snape. Let me point out that neither of them looks like Harry or Snape, but it just helps me know where the arms and legs go. ;)
( Rejected pic )
This was my first try. I liked it, but didn't LOVE it. Snape's head was a bit too small, and the whole thing was a bit more cartoony than I wanted. Plus,
accioslash noticed that Harry looked like 'Data' from Star Trek and ... yuck, so I tried again.
( Accepted pic )
I'm still not thrilled with this one, but I wasn't sure how to make it more dynamic. I like it, I just don't LOVE it. It's sort of supposed to be a play on my last year's pic. It's a similar pose, but a different mood.
