Oddly enough, I just had [livejournal.com profile] scatter_muse as a recipient for my [livejournal.com profile] yultart submission, and then I got her again for Trek Exchange! How funny is that?

She had asked for Kirk/Bones, -Victorian Era (with magic - think Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell)
-Firefly style

Okay, I've obviously heard of the Victorian Era before, but I googled that title, and came up with ... a book! I don't think she wanted a picture of a book. I have no idea what Firefly is either. *iz dumb*

Lucky for me, her second request in the LAST art thing I had her in was (and I'm paraphrasing here,) Kirk and Bones, hanging out in San Fran in their cadet uniforms. Aha! I UNDERSTAND THAT PROMPT!

pretty damn worksafe, akshully )

I TOTES cop to drawing the boys by hand, and then sticking them in a photoshop filtered picture of the bay. I'm in a bit of a time-crunch, and I suck at drawing cities. Expecially really big cities with lots and lots of buildings.

I hope you like, [livejournal.com profile] scatter_muse!

This was done for [livejournal.com profile] sra_danvers who has been such a wonderful cheerleader these past few years. And not just to me! I see her praise all over Hp fandom, and that's really wonderful!

She asked for Snarry in Victorian clothing. Instead, I made them half out of victorian clothing! Instead of a comission, she did a donation to a charity. (this was before haiti, although the charity she chose does help there too.)

Semi work safe )
