GISHWHES has arrived! (and is now over!)

Oh man, what an incredibly insane, crazy adrenaline soaked sleepless week!! And my team was literally fulfilling items right up until the last second. Well, AFTER the last second, sadly, one of the videos wouldn't upload in time, so it didn't get submitted.
This year they posted 185 items, (31 more than last year) and then they ADDED more and more items as the hunt continued!
The first item I did was:
#82VIDEO. As you know, William Shatner loves horses and clocks. Modify a cuckoo clock so that when the hour strikes, instead of a bird appearing, a tiny Captain Kirk on a horse pops out.36 POINTS
I've always wanted a cuckoo clock, but they're so damn expensive! I searched on kijiji and found one listed in the items at a garage sale. I called the number and it was only $40! It was on the opposite side of the city where I live, but hey, it gave me time to mentally work out all of the crazy items that I had to do.
I bought the clock and brought it home and immediately started ruining it. ;) Pulled off the leafy decorations, removed the cuckoo and painting the whole thing blue. I crafted a tiny Captain Kirk and horse out of Model Magic, cut out and painted foam sheets to be planets and spaceships and Spock's hand and put it all back together. Except Kirk didn't fit!!! (it's not a big clock!)
Hubby helped me core out the 'hole' and it unfortunately left a bit of a gap, time was of the essence, so it had to be good enough.
