GISHWHES 107 Bride and Groom
Dec. 6th, 2012 11:02 pmA man and woman in full wedding attire, standing perfectly still, holding hands in a well-lit, crowded public space for 20 minutes. Neither of you can move. This submission must be time-lapsed so the entire 20 minutes is condensed into 20 seconds -- fast motion.

:D Remember the story of the professional photographer that I met at the Hula Hooping Postal workers shot? Well, he had given me his card. When GISHWHES was extended by 24 hours due to Hurricane Sandy, I decided that I had time to fit in one more item. I had actually misplaced his card, but remembered that he used to do magic at a toy store in the city, so I called the toy store, and they agreed to call him and give him my number. He called me back, I asked him if he owned any time-lapse tech, and he said: "No, but I'VE BEEN PLANNING ON BUYING SOME AND THIS IS THE PERFECT EXCUSE!" :D
Three hours later I was duct taped into my wedding dress *sob* (no way that puppy was gonna zip up the back!) and hubby and I posed for 20 minutes at Chapters. (The management there were lovely and gracious, and thanked US for thinking of them!) I've seen a few sped-up wedding shots for GISHWHES, but none have this great fish-eye lens and big, bright open space. The escalators and stained glass ceiling really add to it as well. (as does Lance's sock monkey hat!!)

Date: 2012-12-07 03:39 pm (UTC)I know I've got a special thing with Lance, no doubt about it. And no, my kids refuse to believe that either of their parents could be remotely awesome.
*sigh*
