Also, as soon as I hit post on this, I thought of the book I was reading out loud to my kid last night, Moominsummer Madness. It opens with a scene of Moominmamma making a bark schooner for Moomintroll. The author captures her happiness in the process of making something. It is an opening to rival the scene in The Once and Future King with the haymaking. I think it might be about you.
