Okay, lovely flist! Who is good at computers? I suck wieners at them, and couple that with my laziness, and you get an artist with no on line gallery.

I would love to have some sort of easy to click on list of art (by character, or fandom, WS or NWS) on my home page, but I have no freakin' clue how to do that.

If someone volunteers to do my dirty work for me, I would gladly pay you in art! Name your fandom and request, and I would MUCH rather spend my time drawing, than pulling out my hair and cursing the interweb.

I just want one of those nifty places on my home page here on eljay where people could either look at thumbs or just titles or catergories of my art, all in one place, then they could click on the ones that interest them. Now, you'd have to scroll through all of my posts to find art.

Is that within your talents? :D

So basically you just need one entry that has all the links either by name and/or by thumbnail and it will provide a link to wherever the art actually is? Do you have an account you use to upload your art already or do you need that too?

Bzwa? Um ... I just click on 'upload file' when I'm posting, and then, magically, it does that. I honestly am not even sure what you're asking me. I've heard of photobucket and those types of sites, but I've never understood exactly what they do. Whatever i'm doing has worked for me so far, so I've just kept doing that! :D

If it's just the HTML needed to do stuff in LJ (like linking to other pages, etc) I do have the skills and ability, but perhaps between both of us we can get something together and keep it together, LOL!

I gotcha :-D I think I started using LJ before it HAD an "upload file" option - but photobucket eats porn for breakfast, so that wouldn't work anyway! I'd probably want to load your art to your LJ photo gallergy and link to it that way, unless it's all in different entries and then you could just have that "master" entry with links to everyplace organized by pairing or category of whatever you want. The other option would be to organize your memories the same way so that anyone could go there to view your art by subject / pairing, etc. If you want an example, go to my other LJ, littleroo_recs and check out the memories section.

are any of your LJ entries locked or are they all open? I can work on this "offline" using notepad or something else and save it that way so that it's easy to modify later on or off line. Do you do multiple fandoms or are you pretty much sticking with House? I was thinking maybe we could split the work load by fandom or something to make it easier on everyone :-D

I think I've only locked entries where I'm like...dissing my mother or using the post to link a beta drawing for something. I've never locked art that I've posted.

I'd say that my stuff is 80% HP and 20% House, with the odd personal drawing thrown in here and there.

I'd like them sorted according to fandom, pairing/character and then, just if they're work safe or not.

Thanks so much for taking this on! I've been contemplating doing this for a while, but organization is not my thing. (nor are computers) I actually wouldn't even have an eljay page if canonfodder123 hadn't set it up for me.

I know that not all page layouts allow a front page like the one i'm asking, so if you have to change my layout, I'm okay with that, as long as it's easy to read. I can't stand black pages with white lettering (or any light on dark).

I looked at your page, and that's sort of what I'd like, except I'd like it to be right in the open, instead of someone having to search the memories. I know, for myself, it took months for me to even think of searching someone elses memories for anything. *duh*

LOL, we can make it work. We can either put it smack on your user info page or do a post-dated LJ entry. I'd suggest a nifty banner link on your user info page, personally.

I'm working on the links in backwards order right now (from 2006 to current) and may have some questions for you, such as characters and what to name unnamed pictures, but for now I'm just typing in something like "pairing goes here"

Snape in Drag = Snittany Snears

Bedtime for James Jr is the correct title, but yes, that's Harry's baby.

Mpreg without belly = Happy Couple

Snarry Art = "Mine"

Happy Feet = Snarry feet.

I'm so flattered that you had the Snarry feet as your wallpaper! I might have to have a go at drawing that one again, now that I've gotten a bit better. I just love to re-draw stuff, and see how far I've come.
