Another foray into Mcdonald's playland with the kids...another crayon drawing.
I pretty much always draw at my laptop (I use tradition media, but I have all my ref. stuff on teh computer) but this was done from a photo. Perhaps that's why it didn't really turn out. He's certainly not my best likeness, but there's a certain hang-dog quality to him that I really like. He looks really sad and ... kissable. Doncha think?

Obviously work safe, if I've been drawing it in public! (well, maybe not COMPLETELY obvious!!) :D

I like it a lot. House looks like he's on the verge of tears and I'm such an emo-whore. All it needs is for him to be standing in the rain watching as Wilson unwraps the ribbons from wombat Chase. *sniffle*

Thank you! I almost abandoned it 1/3 of the way through, because I could tell the line art was off, but...draw or watch kids go down the slide !!111eleventy11!! times.... yup, drawing won! :D

Alas, I wasn't lying when I said I wasn't an artist. I use so many references that nothing of "mine" is really mine. And those 11 pieces of *cough* art took me a little over a year to produce.

Whoah, this was done with crayons? Like, Crayola? And I thought I was cool 'cause I could colour in the lines rotfl. This is amazing. Poor thing, looks like he hasn't slept in days and he's been crying ("Cry yourself to sleep like the rest of us!" much??). Aw...he definitely needs some Wilson love.

Aw, he looks so sweet and young. And definitely kissable. It's excellent how you've made him look like this--I think your "big eyes" really really work here. And the light on his face is gorgeous.

Thanks! I'm really happy with the skintones that I can get using only 5 colours of crayon! I also like the challenge of not being able to blend. I mean, they LAYER but no smushing. Very different for me!

And yes, crayons, like Crayola, except they're Prang brand. I"m not sure if they're any different, but they were reccomended to me, for being less waxy and made out of soybeans!

Ha, that's funny! I almost didn't post this one, because I don't think it looks much like him, but I liked the expression, so I posted anyway.

and yes, he DOES look young. I used a promo shot as a ref, and for some reason (maybe the lighting, or perhaps it's from the first season) he doesn't have the eye-bags and wrinkles that he often does. (although....I find them oddly sexy on him!!)

Are you kidding? I think hubby would sleep with House if he got the chance! Plus, he's just relieved to not see Snape 24/7. :D I don't think he ever 'got' my obsession with Snape, but he totally get's the Hugh Laurie thing. He was the one doing illegal downloads of the episodes that we'd missed! *hearts hubby*

He's a bit saddened by my H/W slash pics though. *snerk*

:D Not really. I had my back to the wall, so no one from behind could see me. Plus, I think that when people see you drawing with crayons, they assume you're just colouring or whatever.
