Need a bit of help please!

I've signed up for the Drawble booth at Prophecy, and I'm afraid that I'll be exposed as the fraud artist that I KNOW I am!

I mean, I honestly DRAW everything that i post, but I am a slave to reference photos, and unless they let me hook up my laptop at the booth, I think I'll be flying by the seat of my pants. I seriously think I should practice

Your task, should you decide to accept it is this;

Okay, here they come! Please keep in mind that I am drawing these in under 10 minutes each. I'm hoping to get to under five.

Okay, improving here. I mapped out the face instead of just plundering ahead and also did it lightly in pencil, then used a fine marker.


Okay, I'm going to have to buy a thicker black marker to do hair.


Okay, I found a marker. It's a bit too thick for the actual drawing (as I found out the hard way) but it made Cho's hair much easier!

You do Snape so very well. And comics too. They'd be quicker to do, would'nt they? As for scenarios, Snape with Harry, of course. I'd like to see one with the line from OotP, "Prepare for me to penetrate you!" Leaving off 'the mind' of course.

And how about Hagrid with any number of magical beasts-like the Skrewt, or Norbert or Nifflers.

Also, how about Filch, happily holding up handcuffs in front of Dumby, who's got a happy gleam in his eye?

The last two are hilarious and perty, respectively. Poor Harry. And people who can pull off speed-drawing are pillars of strength. Having to draw well really fast, without references, and with people watching is one of the most nerve-racking jobs I can think of.

Hee! Yes! It was lame, but I'm happy to say that I've improved immensely since then! Well,, maybe not IMMENSELY! :^)

I'm actually a bit hooked on drawing just from my head now. Nothing looks like I want it to, but it's kind of freeing, not using a reference.

I'd really like to attend a 'model' class, to draw from real life. *cough*nudes*cough* :D
