Percy/Pansy art

The reveals are up for Wizard_love and I drewed a Percy/Pansy for freckles42. He turned out a bit beefier than I had intended, but meh, that's the tricky pencil ya! Gosh, it seems like a million years ago, but it was only last month!




Done with ink and watercolours, just to disguise my identiy. (yeah, I've done some inking since, but up until that point, I had done very little.)

Great pic. I love how shiny Pansy's hair is and Percy's *applauds* I know for a fact that red hair is often tricky to get the colour for (Self portraits are a pain for me).

Lovely piece of work. Is Pansy's nose being slightly squashed? I especially love that detail. Also the difference between their skin texture is amazing. Great job as always.

yeah, red hair is strange, because it's not really red. It's like blond and brown and a bit auburn, but not red....grrrr

Thank you! Yes, her nose is upturned anyway, but she's getting it a bit squashed by Percy's face. Gawd I love noses! :D

Exactly. A piece I was doing an abstract of my hair for took me aages to mix a colour which was even resembling right. Orange and brown, bit of yellow, add black because it's not dark enough, red to see if it will work.... you get the picture. I think at one point I ended up with pink streaks by accident! Then I agree to draw the twins for a friend *headdesk*
