It's pretty small too, only about 8 inches across.

That's so pretty, and so intense too.

My concept of art size is thrown by the fact my current sketch pad is A6 size, so 8 inches sounds huge to me at the moment. But I want a bigger sketch pad and I know I pretty much always fill whatever space I have.

Yeah, I tend to draw to the size of the paper too.

I generally draw on a 14x17 pad, but out in public I take something smaller.

Well, all of the art in the games is too small, the icons at least. Now if you wanted to size me a 2x2 of both the pirate and super Harry, I wouldn't say no. I have Photoshop finally, but am a dunderhead.

I used a photo of a man and a woman kissing. Shit, I forget from where, but it's from some old movie. I can 'make' just about anyone's face into Snape or Harry, but I still need a reference to know what a human looks like. Isn't that sad??

Having the original art helps. Plus, there's a way to size things and keep them from distorting. I certainly couldn't explain it, because I stumble around photoshop like a drunkard myself. Don't know if you've noticed, but I DRAW THINGS THE OLD FASHIONED WAY because I fail at PS.
