Your next door neighbor is....odd, quite frankly. And rude.

But I think you did a great job with what you had to work with! That's a seriously faded picture! (oy gevalt)

Thanks! And yeah, she's odd. They both are. They're nice enough, but do all sorts of strange and dangerous things, like let their 12 yo son ride his dirt bike without a helmet, and SET OFF FIREWORKS, HOLDING THEM IN THEIR HANDS! *flees in horror*

The husband also loves to burn EVERYTHING. (we live in the country, so it's not completely odd to burn your garbage) but the man takes it to a whole new level.

Heh. Actually this type of thing is one of the reasons I never really tried to do anything more with my art. Once people realize I can draw, they are always asking me to draw something and, although they are usually moderately polite, I can tell they are seekritly thinking up ways to ask me to change something so it actually looks good (meaning more what they like rather than what I like). It takes me ages to draw something no matter how sketchy it appears. It's really a time commitment for me to agree to do something and I don't think most people realize that. It's easier and far less frustrating for me to just pretend I can't draw most of the time.

And, as much as I love your (or anybody's) porn, my favorite thing you ever drew was the picture of Al in the Superman costume. People always remark on it when he leaves his business cards. I just don't mention that the same person drew that as well as Sphincter Lickin' Good (which isn't on display, but still gets regular viewings by people too stupid to leave while they still have a chance to avoid the need for a good eyeball bleachin').

Did I ever send you the original to that superman pic? If not, I'll find it and mail it to you.

I'm glad that Sphincter Lickin' Good still traumatizes people from time to time! :D

I actually LIKE drawing things for other people. Generally, when I am 'forced' to draw something out of my regular realm, it's a good oppourtunity to learn something new.

Well, let's just say that I learned something new this time! ;)

Hee! No, I have lots of pictures of pregnant men and Potter-Snape babies (mind you, there can never be too many of those in the world to suit me), but I don't have the original of Super Al.

Hell, I bring out Sphincter Lickin' Good at the drop of a hat. Actually, if it was on display in the guest room it wouldn't get seen nearly as often as it does now. People always seem to ask about this "Harry Potter stuff and what I do with it" so I gleefully explain and use your art to cull out the weak from future fandom participation. No need to encourage the weak of mind heart.

It could be just that I'm not as talented as you are or I'm just overly sensitive, but I can just tell that whenever I draw something for someone else it isn't quite what they had in mind and I end up very disappointed because, although it certainly doesn't seem like it, I really want people to like the things I do for them. And knowing it isn't quite right bothers me long after they've already put my art in the recycle bin.

I'm glad though that you could still turn it around and make it into a positive experience. I think that's really one of the keys to success.
