Now that the games are over, I suppose I should post my art here! (and answer the comments there...My bad!!)

I have a friend who is kind enough to model for me. Last year, she was the Snape in my Snarry games pic. This year, she was the Harry, and her very kind (and female) roomie was the Snape. Let me point out that neither of them looks like Harry or Snape, but it just helps me know where the arms and legs go. ;)

This was my first try. I liked it, but didn't LOVE it. Snape's head was a bit too small, and the whole thing was a bit more cartoony than I wanted. Plus, [livejournal.com profile] accioslash noticed that Harry looked like 'Data' from Star Trek and ... yuck, so I tried again.

I'm still not thrilled with this one, but I wasn't sure how to make it more dynamic. I like it, I just don't LOVE it. It's sort of supposed to be a play on my last year's pic. It's a similar pose, but a different mood.

Well, I really do like the one you submitted best. As for dynamic, I think the expression on Snape's face and the tension in his hand give it a sort of static, potential dynamic. (yeah, like his next move is going to be a massive shove). I didn't realize this was a play on last year's pic, but OMG you're so right. HAAAAa, I luvz UR brain!
