Well, the water has started to go down, and a few of our neighbours who were evacuated are back, but there are still quite a few displaced people. I took our 'better' camera (ie: not my iPhone) and took some more pics.

Wow. Flat land much? You should see when we get big thunderstorms! I had no idea, until I moved out to the country how absolutely spectacular they can be. Nature. Don't fuck with it.

Yeah, me either. I was going through my art and putting it away (guests were coming over) and I found it. ha! I had pretty much forgotton about it. Anyhoo, of course, all the 'fun' stuff was finshed, and now I just have 13 miles of Harry's hair to do. NOT FUN. But it won't finish itself, so 15 minutes at a time, I'm going to slog through it.

Today is PIZZA DAY at school, and stupidly, I volunteered to host it. Little did I know that you needed a fuckin' degree in triginometry to figure out who ordered what and from whom.
Oh shit! I just realized that I never sent the slips in.

I could give you a hundred reasons to not have a kid. But none of them equal the reasons to do it anyway. (unless you don't want them. ) But don't feel bad, I didn't want any until I was in my thirties. You've got lots of time.

When I was in High school we had floods for most of the year, and waded from car to house. great for ducks, though.
