It is basically an invite to have a membership at Dreamwidth. (a new livejournal type site that was started by fans, for fans.) Bascially, it came out of strikethrough 07, or sumthin.
Dreamwidth promises to never be as assholish as livejournal. They are still in a trial stage, so they only get members through invites, until they feel that they have worked out all the bugs, then all memberships will be availiable to everyone. And same as eljay, they are free or can be paid for different levels of service.
Personally, I have never had problems with livejournal, especially since they were sold to the Russians, but a lot of people were really screwed over a couple of years ago (and I had fears that some of my art might come back to haunt me), so I have a membership there, just in case.
If you want it, email me at tripperfunster at live dot com and I'll send you the code. You just go to dreamwidth and punch that code in, and you'll be a member too! (all the cool kids are doing it.)
Well, aside from my actual JOINING, I haven't done anything there yet, so you've hardly missed anything exciting from me! Dear God, I don't think I've done anything exciting HERE for a few months.
