I took my kids to see Star Trek a couple of nights ago, and now, even though they are young, they can geek out with me. It's funny to see their perspective of it, since they really have NO reference to base it on.

And ... now Harrison is watching Galaxy Quest on DVD. I swear to God, this may just be my favourite movie ever. When Laredo(sp?) drives the ship for the first time, and grinds the wing against the loading dock for like ... an entire minute. I swear, it's so damn funny that i just want to cry.

I'm pretty sure I'm gonna make my husband dress up as Dr. Lazerus for Halloween. i don't know if i'll be Gwen or Jane Doe. (the girl alien with the black hair) Either way, it will involve a pretty tight suit!

I am lucky, that even though my husband has NO DESIRE to dress up or cosplay, he generally humours me anyway. Last year, he was Chazz from Blades of Glory, and he even dressed up like Bender from Futurama once! :D

He's a good man.

I tried to talk mine into being Pirelli from Sweeney Todd, but he refused. Though he did say that if he did that I'd have to be Toby "so it'd be weird when we make out" !!! I love when he says slashy things without realizing it.

He IS a good man! Not many guys would wear flaming tights and a flowing wig! :D

I had all sorts of Jimmy/chazz fantasies that I was willing to play out, but I think the teeth scared him. ;D
