Whoot! We survived Xmas!
Actually, Christmas was okay, it was the lead up that was killer!
Both kids still FIRMLY believe in Santa Clause, so that makes things extratricky fun.
Quincey had originally asked Santa for an Ace Frehley costume and a banjo.

I kid you not. They boy really goes to the beat of his own drummer. Then, two days before xmas, he had a panic attack, because there were other things that he forgot to ask Santa for, so my husband the enabler wrote up a new letter with him and raced to the post office to priority post it to the north pole. The addendum? And iCarly microphone and a box of Pizza Pops.
My other son wanted a snow board and an Xbox 360. When did my 7 year old become a teenager? *sob*
So, here's the costume:
If you look closely, you can see the box of Pizza pops on the deck. We was pretty pumped when he saw them out there. *g*
I rocked the Star Trek gifts from hubby. The movie box sets, the TOS box sets and the ANIMATED SERIES how cool is that?
Complete with lens flare!
I also get a set of Tim Horton's mugs, a set of Disney mugs (yeah, I like tea, what of it?) plus some great stocking stuffers of earphones and a pedometer.
My ontd star trek seekrit santa sent me the CUTEST little Kirk and Gorn figurines. CHECK OUT HIS RIPPED SHIRT AND NIPPLE!! the tinfoil ball is my impromptu styrofoam rock.

And because you would all be disappointed if I didn't:

I got hubby an iPhone, so accessories for it and a FRYING PAN. He asked! He is the pancake maker of the house, so I guess he wanted the proper equipment.
Best gift? Gift certificate for art supplies from my mom. (although the Trek stuff Rocked!)
Worst gift? nothing too bad this year. I did get a very nice (and probably expensive) Christmas sweater that is really better suited for someone 30 years older than me. I wore it anyway. What the hell, it's Xmas, right?
HOW ABOUT YOU???

2. What are PIZZA POPS? I am both intrigued and horrified. And I might need some. They will join the pantheon of foods that I buy but ought not to, along with Jalapeno Poppers and Bagelfuls.

because the States is like a fuckin' cess pool of processed crap-foodIn fact, they are usually RIGHT BESIDE THE BAGELFULS. Quincey would seriously eat them for breakfast, lunch and dinner, if we let him.
And if you think, for one second, that your mum has not already done dirty things with her Snarry legos, then you don't know her very well, do you?

I must find PIZZA POPS.

And yeah, the Kirk/Gorn figs are EPIC! They're kind of like Lego, but ... way more detailed and move-able. And the torn shirt? I think I came.

LOL those plushies are so great. Also, Mythbusters just covered the bamboo cannon from the gorn episode so there's been a lot of that going around.

HA. The expressions on your dolls were clearly suited for the nefarious purpose you disposed them to.
