Today, I PUT A DEPOSIT ON A HORSE!!

She's not much to look at, but she's very sweet, and gentle and patient, which is exactly what we need.

We're going to see her again on Tuesday, and perhaps take her home by the end of the week.

I have wanted a riding horse since the first time I sat on one when I was six years old.

IT ONLY TOOK 36 YEARS, but the dream? It is coming true!

Oh, and we might be getting another mini too. The people that have Oats recieved a 'rescue' mini, and when they found out that we already had two, they asked if we'd like to take him too.

Oh she looks lovely! I bet the kids are excited too. I learnt to ride when I was a kid but owning a horse would be so much work.

I'm currently trying to convince hubby that we need a persian cat :p What I really want though is a KuneKune Pig :D

Thank you! She is very patient, waiting for me to man handle her bridle on, letting Harrison fix the stirrups etc.

We pretty much need a horse that can teach us how to ride! ;)

Oh, she's a lucky horse to have your family as her new owners! I loved the last photo (the one where you can really see her face). She seems so sweet! Makes me want to be ten years old again when all I drew were horses. :p
