Also ... because I am a crazy fangirl ...

I was thinking of sending a fan letter to the creator of Phineas and Ferb (the guy who does Doof's voice) and maybe sending some art. Normally, I wouldn't even CONSIDER sending something ... untoward ... but he used to work on Family Guy, so he MUST have a bit of a dirty sense of humour. I wouldn't send full on pron, but something funny and shippy and a little dirty might be okay?

Any thoughts? And any tips on writing a letter that doesn't make it seem like he needs to get a restraining letter against me? I've never written a fan letter before.

Something like the crossword puzzle one would be good. Where the dirty stuff is implied but you don't actually see it. I think he might be squicked by the X-rated drawings. I am a little and I don't even work there ;D

I have worried about this and have never had the nerve to write to anyone because I am sure it would either a) sound like the ravings of a deranged fangirl and result in a restraining order or b) sound like I'm 10 with hearts and butterflies all over the pink paper with flappy hands, if you know what I mean. (which also might end with a restraining order) *sighs*

I have a friend who says the best way to write a fan letter is not to make it fannish, just nice and you. I say go for it. Like you said, if he worked on family guy, he must have some sense of humor, so a cute, slashy-implied pic could be fun : )

By not-fannish, she meant, don't go squeeing at him for the entire letter. be more like - yo, dude, I like what you do a lot. Here's some stuff I did, and here's some stuff i find interesting about the show/art/whatever that i think you might find interesting too because of what you do.

It occurs to me, looking at that last drawing, that I have no idea what platypus genitalia actually looks like. Yet, I can't quite bring myself to look it up. XD
Granted, this is an anthro platypus so I guess he could have plenty of human characteristics in that department.

TBH, so far I have completely avoided the entire platy genitalia subject. I suspect it would be like most non-primate peen, ie. retractable. And um ... no thanks.
