Severus regarded his very first jack-o-lantern, a small frown rumpling his brow as he tried to decipher what was wrong with his design. Wide circle eyes: check. Triangle nose: check. Round frightened mouth: check. "I fail to see the difficulty."

With an exasperated sigh, Harry undid his trousers and demonstrated the problem.

Ten minutes later the jack-o-lantern had a different carved mouth, but Severus still though it looked rather horrified.

Last week I offered to write little fic snippets on request -- but the person could only ask as a gift for someone else. Accio asked me to write one for you, and provided the prompt. So I wrote it, but it's from her. :)
