FQF artses for Joanwilder's fic

The FQF was delayed a month, but we have permission to post stuff anyway. The lovely and talented joanwilder aka Raewhit wrote a touching and sexy fic called The Sensible Garden and I drew some pictures for it. And here is the first intallment of art.

The child is the Weasley grandchild, Winnie, daughter of Bill and Fleur. I've drawn her a tad younger than the fic says she is, but hey, those damn pencils just don't listen sometimes!!

Thanks! Like I said, she's supposed to be a bit older, but for some reason, even though I KNEW her age, I pictured her as younger anyway!

Thank you! I started to colour her hair too, but then it seemed silly to leave the rest black and white, so I left it as is and I did another pic totally in watercolours.

I'll post that one when joanwilder posts her next installment.

Wow, this is amazing. I love how much emotion is portrayed in Snape’s face, and yet it seems so subtle. I love the way you’ve drawn him too, it’s Alan Rickman-esk but not overly so. I really must go and read this story now.

It is a lovely story! A bit sad, but over all, quite hopeful. Thanks for the lovely feedback. I love Alan Rickman. He's not EXACTLY the Snape that I thought of while I read the books, but I think he's just great anyway! *kidnapps him and molests him*

It was really fun working with her on this! I was afforded a special sneak preview as she was writing it as well! (yay me!)

Oh, this is so lovely. Severus looks so handsome and Winnie looks as delicate as a china doll. The curls, the barrette, and the forget-me-nots. *Sobs* I just started reading this fic because I was busy being kicked out of Canada for doing obscene things with two flying monkeys, but I got to a certain point in the story and I haven't been able to continue. I will, but I need a break first. I'm a terrible, terrible softy.

Hey, I compliment you on *ALL* your stuff. Even the cootie-ridden fluffy stuff. I even thought the Snape breastfeeding drawing was sweet in a squicky sorta way.

But this was really, really lovely. You should illustrate children's books. Though I'm not sure what you'd show them as part of your work portfolio that wouldn't have them calling in an exorcist.

Thanks Mia! I've done a few 'Snape with Child' now, and I quite enjoy them. I suppose the diversity of grumpy man with sweet child is intriguing to me.
