Animal magnetism ACTIVATED!

First off, BABY CHICKS! OMG so cute!! But very hard to photograph! I've been really bad for checking the eggs lately, and one morning ... 11 chicks! :D

The mother is hilarious. SHE WILL CUT YOU if you get too close. :D

We also have a new cat ... sort of. "Penguin" showed up about a week ago, starving and with a big weeping hole in her leg. Most likely an infection from fighting with other cats. she is a massive wimp, so I don't think she's instigating. Even the chickens beat her up!

And this! OMG THIS! Yesterday, I was out feeding the animals, and this little brown thing went bounding by. A WEASEL! A baby one. I have no idea where mama weasel is, but this thing seems to be by himself. He's living under out little feed shed, and he comes out when I call him.:D I've been giving him wet cat food. He's very afraid, but hungry too. My hubby named him Pop. ;)

Dr. Doofenshmirtz. You know all the horrible things you've heard about goose temperment? TRUFAX! He is a giant asshole. And also kind of sweet. I can pat him and handle him, but he sometimes bites me for no reason. *shrug* he hates the kids! :D

Malfoy. He's a Red Golden Pheasant. so pretty!

And for old time's sake, Mr. Snippets.

Okay, enough picspam for now. :D

THANKS TO ALL FOR GIVING ME HEAD! I love head, especially when there is chocolate involved! :D <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

So many cute things, each one with a name more fabulous than the last! (And I had no idea that was a weasel until you mentioned it and seriously doubt I would have figured it out on my own.)

I had never seen a wild weasel before, so I was unsure what it was. I mean, I knew it was SOMETHING in the weasel family, but ferret? Fisher? Ermine? The internet wasn't much help either, so I could be wrong.

Either way, he's a cutie pie!

Awwwww baby weasel. ^_^ I hope he's old enough to be on his own. And the pheasant is gorgeous!

I don't think he IS old enough to be on his own. I don't know the first thing about wild weasels, but he looks very young. (I think ...) and he's certainly hungry.

Wet cat food seems to fit the bill. Let's hope he sticks around and eats mice, and not chickens! ;)

Oooo eee animals! Aww, little baby ferret/weasel. I hope the cat and weasel do alright.

Thanks!

I think the cat will be fine, her leg is healing. As for the weasel, I'll do all I can, but I have no idea how best to care for him.

Oh God, the photo does not do him justice, he is SOOOOO cute!

And yes, penguin is quite pretty. :D

Ah, so you run an animal sanctuary. ;¬) Ninja chicken sounds very maternal scary. Aww...you saved Penguin & Pop! They're both cute as a bug's ear mpreg.
Dr. Doofenshmirtz sounds like my former supervisor.
Ooo! Malfoy's pretty. Now the only mystery is whether he's Draco, Lucius, or Abraxas. LOL
I love Mr. Snippets' hair, even though he could use a bit of friz control. (˘ε˘)

I run an unintentional animal sanctuary for sure!

I love Dr. Doof, but he is a challenge. We though, if we got him really young, and spent time with him we could get past the dick-wad part, but obviously not! :D

[identity profile] tripperfunster.livejournal.com 2011-07-17 05:34 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, and I only named him malfoy, but in my mind, he's TOTES Lucius! :D

[identity profile] demicus.livejournal.com 2011-07-17 03:16 pm (UTC)(link)
I agree! There's just something that screams 'Lucius' about him. :¬)

[identity profile] xenafox.livejournal.com 2011-07-17 04:09 am (UTC)(link)
MALFOY IS SO PRETTY WTF.

Also omg omg PENGUIN IS SO PRETTTYYYY.

Thanks! She looks a bit like Puck, don't you think?? And it looks like she's hissing, but I just caught her mid-meow. :D

So so cute!!!! I didn't show the photos to my younger, or I'll end with a weasel on my own ^^

[identity profile] antisocial-nerd.livejournal.com 2011-07-17 06:19 pm (UTC)(link)
Ooooooh my GOD so much cuteness!!! SO MUCH CUTENESS. Baby weasel??? *dies* Penguin is sooo sweet looking as well. And I had no idea those golden pheasants existed, SO PRETTY!
