Well, I started drawing Nov 1 /05 so I'll make that part of this meme. I've posted around 110 pics, but I've probably drawn a good 50 more, plus rejected ones and sketches.

My favourite pic

Before and After Snape. The before Snape is my very first drawing (since highschool anyway, and that was *cough*20oddyearsago*cough*) and the 'after' snape was around 7 months later. I was sooo thrilled with the 'after' Snape, that I was almost afraid to pick up a pencil again, for fear that I wouldn't be able to draw that well again.



My Best

I don't know if it's my technical best, but I'm still really happy with it.

None, really. Fandom/flist has been berry berry good to me!

Most Fun

I love drawing parodys and I love the three Stooges, and Voldies Bald head just called out to me, so art was born!




Sexiest

mmmm tough one! Probably two companion pics I did for Raewhit's "Oubliette" fic. I drew Harry from a very steamy scene, then just HAD to draw Snape in a matching pose.

Most proud of My Olympics pic. Not only was it THREE separate drawings, I worked reeely hard on them, and had the please of recieving fantastic beta help from my teammates. Because of this, I think they turned out better than they might have otherwise.




Biggest disappointment

This one, had all of the right elements, and just...made them look fat! :D Not flattering lighting, and, uh, I drew it on a plane, that's my excuse, and I'm sticking to it! ;)


Biggest Surprise

I drew this for an aquaintence on Lj, and wasn't too thrilled with the prompt (she wanted a pic of herself as a child with Snape) and her reference photo was terrible. Too far away, and not a great angle.) so I just searched the web for a child with similar colouring, and this is what I came up with. The response to this pic has been overwhelming. It seems to really touch a chord with people and that is so satisfying, as an artist.




hardest to draw

This was for DementorDelta's fic, Dumbledore's Folly. She had once mentioned that she thought it was an un-drawable scene, and now, I'm inclined to agree with her! Again, I had the joy of some wonderful art betas on this one (glockgal especially.) I'm also usually too lazy to draw backgrounds, and this one has TONS of bg.

Another toughy! I hope my sense of humour is what people think of when my name comes up. (that, and a wicked hot bod!!) (hey, it's my fantasy, screw off, all right??) :D




Goals for Next Year

Improve, improve, improve! I hope this next year teaches me as much as this last year has! I've made such wonderful lj friends, and my flist reads like a list of my favourite artists and authors, so really, despite the massive Wanking that is going around right now, I'm cozy and snug and happy as shit where I am right now.

What a sanguine, stunning and honest portfolio and self-debriefing! I'd seen most of this, so you know what I think, but I'd not seen the companion to Oubliette, nor the Malfoy incest pic. And it's interesting that of all of your pics, you've chosen this handful, and showed us some tough spots along the way. I don't know what lit a fire under your fandom smut-beginnings, but I'm sure glad it did. I can't wait to see what you do in 2007. I'm so out of it--is there wanking?

Btw, I agree with you about your Olympic entry (although wanking Sev runs a close second). It's top-notch art, exquisitely done.

Thanks hon! I don't do many memes, but this one was a cool trip down memory lane for me!

My smut-fire was lit by isiscolo. I just happened upon a fic of hers(whilst innocently googling Snape/Sex :D ) and had never read any fanfic or slash before.

Needless to say, a pron addict was born! I don't know exactly what inspired me to draw, but I just wanted to be able to do a passable cartoon sketch of Snape. Some people just don't know when to stop! :D

I cannot believe how much your technique imporved in only seven months. It's beyond amazing.

The picture of Neville really looks like the actor. I'm quite a seekrit fan of Neville and he just doesn't seem to get much art devoted to him.

I would have a terrible time trying to pick my favorite fun art of yours. The Three Stooges is definitely fun, but I really loved Snape in his grandma panties and Potions Man.

And how could I not love all your choices for sexiest, but the one of Harry has such a naughty feel for such an innocent picture. Of course, I love Snape's schlong smirk in the companion piece to the Harry one. And the bottle of lube has Tripp written all over it. I'd comment on the Snape porn, but really, does anyone who has met me even imagine that I didn't lick the screen comment on it at length when it was originally posted?

Malfoy incest? Yeah, that's the kind of drawing that surfaces when you're applying for a new job or meeting your kids' teacher. *makes mental note to take down the Padfoot/Lily fic*

Your Dumbledore/Filch rules the internets. The feet one was quite special though as an mpreg whore fan, pregnant!Filch will always be a favorite.

The Olympics fic was brilliant. "Nuff said.

I see what you mean about the Remus/Snape. The individual parts seem well executed. (I love Remus' scars) But it doesn't seem to fit well together.

And Snape holding the little girl? Oh, hon, you *know* the mpregger in me had a field day imaging all the possible Snarry bunnies with this one. You have an amazing talent for drawing children's faces. I told you before you should do illustrations of children besides all the chan. You draw them with such vivid, innocent expressions. Sometimes they make me even think of babies fondly enough that I'm forced to go out to a fast food place and sit next to the mother with the toddler and the new baby to keep my pesky biological clock under control.

Your drawing for Delta was nothing short of stunning. You really did capture that scene. And I liked the background and would love to see more of that and penises in the future.

And, believe me, once you see it breastfeeding!Snape is unforgettable. Take that any way you like. ;D

Mmm. I see your stuff now and then, but I haven't seen an all-together like this before- and I really enjoy your work. The sharp lines and the airbrush-quality of the shading is unusual, and the light which seems to originate from underneath the figures or sometimes from within the figures themselves lends an otherworldly quality to these portraits. I think my favorite is the Olympics, followed closely by the Dumbledore's Folly. I hope you follow those works into different genres, since you capture circumstance, and, especially, action so well.

Thank you! I must admit, that I've done a bit of dabbling in other fandoms, and I MUST draw Davy Jones (POTC), but Snape is still my one true love! :D

HP smut has really made me into the artist that I am today. Everyone has been so supportive and helpful here and so many of the other artists are quick to step in and offer advice or just compliments. (god knows you can't get too many of those! *g*)

I'm tempted to say Neville, but since that kid in the movies isn't really the Neville in my head, I think I'm going to have to say the snarry_olympics piece. It's just... wow. As for seeing my mistakes, sometimes I can tell right away, but sometimes I need a month or two break, then when I go back and look, I'm like WTF?? What was I thinking???? :D

I'll have to agree with others on the olympics piece being my favorite. Everything there is exquisite, and the triangular composition is so novel. It's an extremely powerful piece. Rimming!Fumbledore is my favorite after that, because it combines the humor and great art in one piece. DD's expression totally cracks me up!

Actually, the Love Triangle was for the Snarry Olympics. I didnt' do Smutmas this year, and I'm kind of ripped, because it looked like fun. NEXT YEAR!! :D

And yes, the Malfoycest ... Nothing is good enough for a Malfoy, except another Malfoy!
