Day 32 A costume appears!

Well, PART of a costume. Sewing? Sort of really cool and sort of blows all at the same time. I made this without any pattern, except the pseudo tissue paper one that i cut out myself. Sewing is almost like drawing, but in 3D, except I'm reasonably adept at drawing, and I suck big fat wieners at sewing!



LOOK AT THOSE ARM INSERTS! I ACTUALLY STITCHED THEM IN! Now I just need the star emblem (should be easy) and the cowl (will be fuckin' impossible.)

And if I had a nickel for every time I sewed something together THE WRONG WAY I'd be rich! durrrr Inside out, upside down, good side of material to bad side of material. You get the idea. Here's what it's supposed to look like:



Oddly enough, Quincey's chest is not quite as wide as Chris Evans. ;p I've also made the neck hole a bit big, but I couldn't be arsed to put a zipper in, so he'll have to pull it over his head like a t-shirt. I'll keep you guys posted as this develops.
