Day 43 Robert Downey Jr ART

This was done in pencil crayon, all drawn in little, tiny circles. It actually looks better in rl. For some reason, I was really having touble getting all the values with the camera. Usually, tweaking the levels in photoshop fixes it, but today, not so much.

I find his face super hard to draw, but doing the multi-multi-layer build up in pencils helped. It's almost more like sculpting than drawing. And man, I just love how he smiles with his WHOLE DAMN FACE. Had to draw it.

Oh WOW! Seriously this is AWESOME! I've done with color pencils before but never with crayon! We are enemies actually! XD Nice job and I love his teeth! so white!

Whoops. Here in Canada, we call coloured pencils Pencil Crayons. I HAVE done some actual crayola crayon portraits.

You certainly don't get the level of detail that you do with coloured pencils.
