House Art WIP2

Okay, I've shortened his nose and (obviously) the rest of his face too. On the actual page, it translates to about a centimetre shorter. I hate having to re-draw stuff. I'm soooo teh lazy! From the ORIGINAL sketch, before I fixed it his chin the first time, it is probably at least and inch shorter than it is now.

I also did his other eye, but that's about it so far. The hardest part is remembering to stop and take photos!

Here's a link to WIP1

Oh yeah, you got him definitely. Funny, isn't it, how it's the eyes that make the person identifiable. Once you add the extras (although I think hair's pretty crucial), he'll be a ringer. You go, girl!

:D Thanks hon!

Say, today, I got a WICKED idea for a House script!! When I flesh it out a bit I'll email ya the details. We should SOOO write an episode and sell it to them! (no slashy pron though) well,...not too much anyway! ;)

I love the realistic-ness (erf) of the eyes, but it seems to me like the left one is looking right at me, and the right one is looking upwards. which is kind of cfreepy. its coming along really well though

Yes, I see what you mean about the eyes. They will be in a much deeper shadow when the pic is done, so hopefully that will make him less wall-eyed. I made one a tad bigger on purpose, but..erm..perhaps too much bigger. Time will tell. The whole thing could still end up circling the drain, depending on how the facial hair goes! :D

Wow, I can't stop looking at his eyes. They're *perfect*.

*beams* thanks! I think, the trick to making good eyes is to remember that they're round. I mean, duh. of course they're round, but a lot of people leave them white and don't shade them at all. The only part of the eye that I leave white is the little 'highlight' in the iris, and perhaps just a touch where the eye would be closest to the viewer. The rest is all shadows, baby!
