Day 62 Airplane art!

No, not art of airplanes, but art that I drew WHILE ON the plane. mmmm three or more uninterrupted hours to draw. LOVE IT!

Penciled and inked this one on the way to Seattle, then coloured it when I got home. I'm still not sure if I liked the coloured or black and white version better. Maybe I'll try it again with pencil crayons.

Yeah, on the first plane, I was sitting across the isle from some guy reading a "How to make Jesus part of your life" book. On the second flight, my seat mate asked ..."Who are they?" I told her Cap and Tony and she was all "I thought so!"

I don't think I've even gotten a negative comment while drawing slash. It's started some interesting conversations, but never any hate.

Is the background in the color version one you can swap easily? Just thinking about your indecision on which you like better, and I think a half-tone background in classic comic style might bump the color version up to even more awesome.

Ooh, I like that halftone idea! I tried making THEM in halftone, but the colours were too complex and it looked odd. A halftone background might rock! *smooch*
