GISHWHES 96 Iceland

tripperfunsterIn front of Hallgrimskirkja, you and a friend hold up two signs and two bags of ice. One sign says "Welcome to Iceland!" the other says "Keep your hands off our ice!".
That picture cracks me up every time!
The big problem was ... who do I know in Iceland? NOBODY! And then I realized that one of my employees has a brother who lives there (teaches?) half the year. I called her, thinking her brother might know someone who would do it. Turns out, he was there! She gave me his number, and seconds after dialing it I panicked, thinking "Oh shit! WTF time is it in iceland right now?", but it was fine, just early evening.
I explained what I needed, and where I needed it done, and he actually lives close to that cathedral. His big problem was ice! It would seem that they don't sell ice in iceland! :D So he made some in his freezer, dragged a couple of friends along and snapped this gorgeous pic. (he's pretty damn cute himself, when not decked out in a hoodie.)
The world is a small and very odd place.
