I just talked (ie: over the internet) to one of the writers/artist of Phineas and Ferb!! *dances*
I commented to some of his art over on DA, and mentioned that me and my kids really like the show. He commented back, seemed pretty cool, so I sent him a silly but not really porny pic of Doof and Perry. On deviantArt.

After I hit send, I was kind of ... Oh shit. I hope I didn't offend him, and I hope that he can tell that I really love these characters and I'm not just some sick pervert. (yanno,not JUST some sick pervert!!). I've never sent anyone art who is involved in a show before ...it's just kinda weird. And then I kinda wibbled, because .. well, it's not exactly my best art either. But it's funny! But I've really improved since then .... WIBBLE.

Anyhoo, he messaged me back, said he thought it was funny, and told me that it was NOTHING like the NSFW stuff that they do around the office. :D

OMG I WOULD PAY CASH TO SEE THE KIND OF FREAKY SHIT THEY DRAW THERE!

*sigh* My brush with greatness this year.

Animators are generally very disturbed individuals, it's really common for their to be lots of dirty artwork and animation around the studio that's done on their off times.

Yes well, one of the creators of P+F worked on Family Guy, so as much as I'm not really surprised, I'm a big gobsmacked that he freely admitted it. :D

I gave Patrick Stewart a weird art project i did where i cut the front part off a captain crunch cereal box and turned it into a Captain Picard with "roddenberries" cereal box (can you tell I saw too many Wacky packages as a child?) doctored with my own drawings of him. Then I got scared he'd be offended by it so I took off before he could get a good look at it (this was at a trek con).

I WAS going to get William Shatner to sign my 'Beaded Kirk' thing I made, but he had a last minute schedule change, and I ended up not getting to meet him.

Aside from that, I have kept my fannish things to myself. Well, myself AND the entire internet. ;)
