I have been thinking about your art and this particular series of yours lately. I've been looking at other fandoms, and in particular...Sherlock. But I hadn't been comfortable trying art for a fandom where I thought I had to get a dead ringer likeness of the actors. You're really demonstrating here you don't have to in order to make a really cool piece or series of art. I've been studying this, actually.

That's actually a really cool thing about the Avengers. There are literally hundreds of comic books, and ALL of them have different interpretations of the characters. Sometimes Tony is huge and ripped, and sometimes he is fairly small and normal. *(he always has the goatee, of course!)

I was intimidated to draw something in a fandom that is so art driven, and I'm not comfortable drawing in that style (don't have the art chops for that) so I just picked my own (new) style, and it's been very enthusiastically accepted!

I'm not sure how it would go over in Sherlock. I've avoided that fandom (despite a huge chunk of my flist flailing over it.) I just don't have time for a new obsession. :D
