Free video editing software?

I just need something kinda simple. The kids made a Harlem Shake video and I just want to cut the two segments together (and get rid of the pre-vid part). Something that doesn't require all sorts of fancy upgrades on my computer would be nice too.

Thanks in advance.

Virtualdub is free and should work for your needs. (Unless the video you have is encoded in an unusual format, like some cell cameras do these days. Then you might need to convert it first.)
