I'm thinking Loki kind of wants to be convinced. I'm not sure what or how much will be necessary for him to decide he's held out for enough incentive, though. It wouldn't do to give in too quickly and become known as a softy, after all.

I was just thinking yesterday that if I didn't get the next part of this soon I was gonna diiiiiiiiiiie!

Oh, man--Loki's surprised face when Steve grabs him! Not outrage, as in, "How dare you put your hands on me, mortal" but, "You're willing to touch me? Hating me as you do, knowing I can burn your hands off with a breath--wow." I love every panel of this--Loki's helmet fading in, Loki's face in all its convolutions.

I keep praising the art in this, but I shouldn't neglect--DAMN can you write. The dialogue has been just wonderful all the way through and the composition of each page and the way you make each little edition a small "To be continued" draw, just, wow.

Writing this has been a wonderful challenge. I don't miss writing exposition (not my strong point anyway), but even the dialogue (which is my strong point in fic) has to be edited and pared down to the very basics, so it just ends up being a wall of text.

It's also been neat to do this in a 'serial' sort of way. Like you mentioned, each page has to be a bit of a cliffhanger, unlike a complete comic, where the next page is just a flip away.
