Piiiiiiiiig! OMG!
Today we went to the Morris Stampede, which is a bit of a low-rent, small town thing, with chuck wagon races and rides and a petting zoo, etc. It turns out I know the lady running the petting zoo, I'd bought a goat from her a few years back. Anyhoo, at the zoo there was this CUUUUUTE little polka-dot pot bellied pig running around, and I was IN LOVE with it.
I told her that it was so cute that I almost ate it, and she said IT WAS FOR SALE. omg. Never tell me that a cute animal is available for me to take home and smother with lurve.
Needless to say, I now own the CUTEST PIG IN THE UNIVERSE. He has polka dots!
I'll post more pics soon.

This is him bumping noses with my bunny Chelsea. I named him MORRIS.

Does Chelsea like him?
He is cute for a pig. You don't have to fix boars do you, to prevent aggressive tendencies?

The bunny is a regular sized Netherland Dwarf, so Morris is crazy small right now, but should end up around 30ish lbs, which is pretty damn small for a pig, but still bigger than the weenie little thing that he is now.
As for fixing, yes, I'll be doing that soon. I don't know how aggressive they get, but the un-nuetuered ones SMELL! From everything I've heard, it's the females that get grumpy when they mature.

They are more petite and less .. .squat than the pygmy ones. Same crazy personality, I assume. ;)

I don't think hubby will let me near a petting zoo again any time soon. ;)

Why is that that we humans show how cute something is by how much we want to eat it? (or squish it to death) I totally do that all the time!

--some of them get pretty large.
Blessings to you!
( I once brought a chicken back from the poultry exhibit at the fair grounds, I totally understand the "must have this cuteness"
