Obviously I went with golf. I thought the plaid would look cool. :D

I went to a local taxidermy place, and asked if they had any animals I could borrow. They said, "Sure!" You can have these ones here! Actually, she let me pick out of the ones that were available. They didn't even want a deposit! I picked a badger, the duck and a squirrel. The lobster is actually mine. I'd bought it ages ago at an auction. I thought it was about the most ridiculous thing I'd ever seen, and needed to own it immediately.

I went to a discount fabric store and found some plaid and argyle, then picked up some 'model magic' for the shoes.
THAT SQUIRREL WAS SO DERPY I JUST FELL IN LOVE WITH HIM!

Once I had them dressed, I took them out to a golf course, and asked the Pro if I could pose them on the course. The Pro said, "sure!" :D

Then, after posing them FOREVER, I asked a nice couple to pull their golf cart back a few feet so that it would be in the shot. When I returned the animals, the lady liked the squirrel's costume so much, that she left it on. :D

The lobster is in my store, still wearing the plaid. :D

Honestly, I"m just following directions, but with my own twist. I seriously THRIVE on shit like that. I really need a job like this. Is there such a thing as a professional scavenger? ;)

The yes's and no's followed exactly the same pattern as last year. Post Office and Military: NO Everyone else in the world: YES! *sigh*

Slightly disturbing. I wonder if this is what a golfer's nightmare vision would be.

I can't believe how you get people to do these things for you.

Yes, it is HUGE lobster, hence my needing to own it. It looks especially ... odd in it's golf finery. :D

I don't even SELL it to people. I just ask and they agree!

It's like the set-up for a joke: "A badger, a duck, a squirrel and a lobster are playing golf ... "

The trouble is, I have no idea what the punchline would be.

You are right. He was labeled as a badger, so I just assumed it was so. But upon investigating, he IS a wolverine!

You bring joy like some kind of taxidermy-golfing dumpster-swimming duck-wrangling fairy godmother. Reports of your adventures make me happy. :-D

The badger doesn't really fit my impression of a badger. Hang on, do you HAVE badgers in Canada? I thought they were kind of black and white and British. But we don't have them here so I'm hardly an expert.

I think the duck is my favourite. SOmehow, the hat and vest really work with his pose. He looks like an old-fashioned gentleman having a jolly good time with the chaps of an afternoon.

it seems that what I was told was a badger, is really a wolverine. I know we have wolverines here, and possibly badgers too. I have no idea. Neither of them are something you'd stumble upon on a regular basis, even out here in the country.

I know you have them in at least Some parts of Canada-(probably much of it)-just not the same *kind* as badgers in the UK.

They are more grey-and-white than black-and-white, lower to the ground, more solitary--
( I have never heard of North American Badgers playing leap-frog)
