I am sitting here crossing my fingers about it! It's exciting and nerve-wracking to have a friend start watching it, hoping they'll ship what you ship! Nice icon, btw.
:D I am told that I will fall head over heels with Dean/Cas. It hasn't happened yet (I've just seen the first two in season four) but I fully expect it to.
Hell, I shipped Snape/Harry and they barely shared any screentime and pretty much hated each other for the entire series. It would seem that I'm pretty easily convinced. ;)
If you're into slash it's really hard not to ship these two. The writers play to the slashers a lot.

Later in the series another angel that Dean asked a favor from says "I'm sorry, you have me confussed with another angel. The one in the dirty trench coat that's in love with you."
And hell, even in my very limited dealings with Misha Collins, he also completely panders to the slashers. I don't RPS, but it's nice to see an actor who can have fun with all aspects of his role and seems to really enjoy the fans.
Ha, I don't know about astonishing! :D I must admit, this picture is brighter than the original. I pumped up the contrast to make the background nice and black, and it really pushed the colours brighter.
Oddly enough, while I was drawing him, I was struck at how much he looks like Benedict Cumberpatch. Strong chin, almond eyes and messy hair. But I think Cumberpatch is icky and not attractive at all (although, he was pretty cool looking as Khan) but I think Sam is very attractive.
Perhaps you had a Cumberpatch --->Martin Freeman --->Bilbo Baggins connection? ;)
As for how young he looks ... yeah. I have no idea what happened. I was going off a screen cap from probably around season 2 or 3 and I guess my inner pedophile turned him into a teenager?
I had to do a double-take - he looks so young here. Love the vibrant colors. Sammy is hot, but I'm a Dean girl. And you are only just now getting into SPN? How did you hook up with Giswhes if not thru Misha?
I think I'm a Dean girl too, but I ... I dunno, relate to Sam better? Plus he has a more interesting face to draw. Dean is handsome, but is less unique looking. I guess I'll have to try and draw him too and see.
Plus Sam has more of my kinks. Tall,lanky and shaggy hair. But Dean has that lovely Douche thang going on. ;) *pushes them together*
And yeah, I was going off an older screencap for the pic, so Sam is younger, but then my inner pedophile made him EVEN younger. :D
Chaechae/Rachel/Akemi invited me to Gishwhes. I'd never heard of it before, and only had a passing knowledge of Supernatural or Misha Collins.
Now that we won Gishwhes, I thought I'd better get up to speed before I meet him and show what a n00b I am!

He so does and it is awesome to see. Plus I am a sucker for how loyal he is, devoted, self-sacrificing. The fandom is too batshit for me, so I've never done more than enjoy the show itself, but I could be either a Wincest or a Destiel fan. I know there is amazing fanfic out there for both, but alas, Snarry. ;D
