I have a black, fairly delicate design that I need to put on a shirt, yet, when I flatten it, I'm getting those damn white halos around it, yet it's a thin enough design that I can't really expand it by a couple of pixels without wrecking it.

Is there a way to save/merge the layers without the halo?

TIA

Presumably the halos are there before you flatten it, then? If not, find how to turn off anti-aliasing.

I've found a few tricks that work, but nothing great. There must be an easy trick out there. And no, it's after the flattening that I'm having the problem.

Do you hand draw and then scan in? If so, have I got an awesome technique for you that will forever do away with your problem...

I found a video that exactly details the method I use, I hope this helps.

If you are creating your art directly within photoshop I don't know how to help you!

This happens when you're saving it as jpeg? Using the highest level of jpeg (12 in my old version) usually solves the pb for me.

It's mid-work that I'm having this problem. While flattening and/or saving part of the work.
