1) Last week I took my rabbit for a booty-call. I have a Flemish Giant bunny, and they're a bit rare around here, so I took her to a buddy of mine who is a rabbit breeder.
She wasn't immediately 'receptive' to the male, so I left her there overnight. He called me the next day to say that I should have baby bunnies in a month! yay! She's back home now, and not looking any different for having lost her virginity, but four weeks from now I might have some very cute baby bunny photos!!!

2) While patting Clover (my bunny), Jimmy MacElroy, my peacock seemed quite interested in the proceedings, so I turned around to talk to him and offer him some dandelion leaves and he FUCKING ATTACKED ME! Like for reals! My husband had mentioned that Jimmy tried to attack HIM a couple of times, and I laughed it off. I just assumed that it's because he's of breeding age, and perhaps saw my hubby as a threat. But the dude was going for blood! He scratched up my arm and shoulder pretty good. It looks like tried to catch a cat that was jumping off a roof or something.

3)We have our first batch of baby chicks! OMG so cute! And when they sleep, it's like total face-plant in the food dish. Excuse the odd photo, they're under a red heat lamp.

4) The stained glass 'show' is tonight. There is a wine and cheese/meet and greet at the studio and I'm kind of excited and nervous. I'm pretty sure it will be very dry and boring, but it will be nice to meet other artists. or CRAFTSMEN? ARTISANS? Whatevs. I'll be surprised if I'm not the youngest person there. (and I'm not young.)

5)I really want to see A Million Ways to Die in the West. I'm willing to bet it's not great, but Seth McFarlane is on my list of Douchey Men that are No Good For Me that I want to fuck anyway. *shrug*

Haha, every time I read one of your entries about your pets, I'm surprised you have a _____. This time, it's peacock, which I don't remember you having. Aww, sorry your peacock attacked you :( Peacocks are so amusing to me when they're trying to woo the peahens. I went to the LA Arboretum, and watching the peacocks strutting for the peahens was the best part. They tried so hard, but the peahens were disdainful, LOL.

I hope your peacock calms down!

Oh yes, I've had peacocks for years! Never been attacked by one until now, though! Last year the hen was laying eggs, but he was too young to do anything. THis year he's old enough and she is NOT INTERESTED. ;)

Peacocks are mean, I hate them! I grew up with an Ostrich farm that also had peacocks, emus, llamas, pigs, and chickens. Ostriches, well, they're evil. But peacocks are secretly evil! They look so pretty and lovely and Shebam! They turn on you! Good luck with him...

Your animal breeding story made me laugh. I love how you talk of her losing her virginity. I never thought of it like that. Now, I feel like I should have talked a lot of our farm animals through their first times, a pep talk. 'Listen, it's not gonna feel great. You may not even really like him, but you just gotta do it once, I swear, and then you don't have to see him for a long time!'

Nothing exciting is happening here. I'm due in 5ish weeks, miserable, bored, have a cold, would like to give birth now-ish. Kansas is full of lame. Although, I am really excited for new seasons of Teen Wolf and Honey Boo Boo, because that's the only thing that brings me joy. Haha

5 WEEKS! Man, the time flies! Boo to being huge and preggo in the heat, though.
Farm animals are all about the rape culture! I shudder to think what it's teaching my boys!

I think he's generally hilarious (with some exceptions) but I also think he's pretty cute and has an awesome smile. I saw the movie, it was good! Much funnier than Ted, imho.

Just getting ready to sell the house; another day or two and we'll have finished everything on the 'to-do' list and be ready to talk to an agent - something we've been working towards for about eight months now. Hooray!
