Inorite? My first non fandom art in forever!
featherbird1
featherbird2

They are the same feathers, just different arrangements of them. This is a much closer approximation of what I saw on the internet. I just wanted to see if I could do it too. Now I need to make an Avengers one! :D

These are so clever and pretty! My brain almost can't believe it's really from a feather. They're so gorgeously perfect, I love anything 'bird'ish, but these are sensational and inspire me to look at them!

Thanks! I am a huge bird lover too. (hence the feathers!) Now, daily I go out and check the yard for stray chicken/turkey/peacock/goose feathers! It's like a daily easter egg hunt!

That is beautful - the second arrangement works best, I think but I like the close up of the first. Now the question is, what do you do with these pieces now? You should frame this one and sell it on Etsy.

Thank you! I am TERRIBLE with my art. I have stacks of it lying around all over. Once a year, or so, I give it all away, but sadly, I HATE mailing stuff, so I avoid that too!

I understand that - I have drawers full of sketches and stuff going back to when I was a child. Even I don't look at them for years at a time so why I'm hanging onto it all I don't know.

So gorgeous. How do you cut them so precisely?

With a craft knife, nothing special. I finally went out and bought a little magnifying glass that clips to the table. My (getting) old eyes are not up to this task!!

Thanks! You should try it! It's fiddly, but not terribly hard. You do well with your pumpkins, and this is not very different, just … much smaller! ;)
