It is silly, and sometimes over the top, but the costumes and sets are divine, the cast (including extras) is diverse and the acting (or over acting) is fantastic.

And the songs are pretty damn good too!

I only heard of it through some gifs on tumblr. I actually thought it was a movie! Omundson is OFF THE FUCKING HOOK, he is so spectacular!

he was enthusing about it last year at Asylum and they showed the trailer on the big screen too (while Tim sat in the audience watching). That man is just spectacular all round really.

I've been watching this too! I love the songs, but it's Omundson who is amazing. He just... you can SEE the joy pouring out of him as he plays this ridiculous, over the top character and I love him so much for it!
