Drawing trumps paperwork. Hands down.

Here's a crayon Wilson to go with my crayon House. I'll take the two drawings and smush them together to make them kiss!

Aw, girl, you rock. This is gorgeous. I think what I like the most about your style is the way you draw eyes. You make them so bright and large and luminescent that they really bring everything else together, and in the end, I feel like I'm looking at something from some dreamy, softly-illustrated children's book I used love as a child. Beautiful work. :)

ha! Thanks! I actually drew his eyes WAAAY to big. I was interrupted about 1000 times while drawing this one. (Good Friday, and two kids and hubby home all day). Anyway, that's my excuse, and I'm sticking to it! ;^)

It's funny you should say that (and thank you, by the way,) but I feel exactly the same way about a couple of other artists. I think they are soooo fekking amazing, that instead of being motivated, I'm discouraged. I mean, THEY can already to it so well, why should I even try?

I try anyway, of course, and occasionally succeed, but Dude! Don't give up!
