I'm not sure if I like this or not. It was a great learning experience, but it doesn't look quite as awesome as it did in my head. *shrug*
The top bar is actually amber, not bright yellow. I blame my camera phone.

I think it came out interesting but kind of unfocused. I feel like the concept would work better if the individual pieces looked like they had once been part of the whole. Like if they look like they fit together, but were broken up, you know?

That being said, I still like it. I love the pieces you chose to bridge the gaps, and I really love that frit method. All those pictures came out really neat.

Hmm. I agree with that 'part of a whole' except most of these were just scrap test pieces, so I didn't have that kind of vision going into it.

I've taken it all apart already, and I'm going to try something else.

Hee! I've taken it all apart already.
The pictures were done with glass powder, done over a stencil then fired in a kiln.

I like it. Love the Siamese kitty.

Thanks. I"ve taken it apart to try something different. I like the individual pieces, but I'm unhappy with the whole.

That is lovely! Almost as if the cats are chasing the feathers. (Either that or they ate the bird already.)

Well, there are two birds flying away, but maybe there were three? :D

I like the concept very much, but you're right - it hasn't really worked out.

I"ve taken it apart to re-work it. I really liked the idea of having 'space' between the pictures, but the chains and fasteners were more of a detraction than I thought they'd be.

I'm going to try tack fusing the pieces onto a semi-clear single piece of glass. If that doesn't work, then the trash bin can have it. :D
