Paperquill Fail

tripperfunsterHee! I tried my hand at paper quilling and …. well, it's not a loss if I learned something, right? I am AMAZED at how frickin' time consuming it was! Took FOREVA! And sadly, looks cool and creepy, but nothing like I had planned.
It's supposed to be Robert Downey Jr, but it looks more like Chuck from Supernatural.
Things I learned:
I need paper that is more diversely coloured. The black and brown are too close to make it look good.
Red paper as a background = not good.
Moar practice. Lots moar.

Those paper towel arts sound neat!
