Gift Art for Schemingreader!

As thanks for a very cute and funny (and prony) gift fic that schemingreader wrote for me, featuring Snape and Neville, I told her that I would draw her anything she requested.

She wanted a scene from her story Carthage Any scene where Remus is a wolf.

I learned three things while painting this.
1) I suck a watercolour paints
2) I suck at painting wolves
3) Snape has a very teeny bed. :D



I hope you like it hon, and please forgive my lack of watercolour skillz. I actually painted this scene THREE times, and this one was by far, the best!

Oh God, you are sooo right about #3! I used to share a bed with two dogs, a cat and my husband! When I got pregnant we ran out and bought a king sized bed, because there was NO WAY anything would fit in there!

Now, sadly, me and hubby only share the bed with two cats, as the those two dogs have passed on, and our new dogs have been trained to sleep elsewhere. The kids join us from time to time, but not all night/every night. (thank god!)

yup! that's me way back in the 80s, lol. Love the Strawberry Shortcake wallpaper :-D

We've had Samoyeds since forever (ie: 1982 when my dad married my step-mom). This is Dasher, who was not even fully grown yet. Right now my parents' just have one female plus two Pomeranians that joined the family when my step-mom hit middle age and got sick of being constantly beaten up by hyper gigantic dogs, lol.

My boy was samoyed, husky, malamute and my mom said he had some wolf but I hope that wasn't true.

Wow! Oh wow! Thank you so much. It's just perfect and beautiful. Snape's hair, all shiny and oily! The wolf is such a beauty and they are so cuddly--just like in the story!Ooooh thank you!

Thanks! I"m glad you liked it! I seriously drew it three times, because I was unhappy with the first two. At least I improved! ;^)

Perhaps I'll stick with the Crayons from now on. :D
