Harrison and Quincey grabbed the crayons and decided to put their artistic skillz to work.

Harry drew a lovely pic of me:

And one of his father:

And Quincey, full to the brim with gay pride, drew a lovely rainbow:

Thier drawings have just begun to resemble actual things, and I just love it! I squee every time they draw something!

Disclaimer: Both children are BOYS not girls, they just have long hair and pretty faces, and the picture of me may or may not be accurate ... :D

Ha! Quincey drew an oval, with about a million legs coming off of it. I asked, "Oh, is that a spider?" and he said, "No, it's a candy that fell on the floor and now it has hair on it." BWAHAHAHA *takes the hint and vacuums.*

I've been pushing them to do representational art since they were in utero. I've always enjoyed kids art. I have a wall of different sized picture frames, just sort of plastered willy-nilly and I put the kid's art up there, and switch them out, every so often. It's really cute, and they get a kick out of it.

I haven't been trying to get him to do representational art, because I really like the "patterin" art that he's been making. But this is fun, too.
