Since there was NONE in the season finale, I was compelled to draw some H/W for my own amusement. Wilson's puppy-dog eyes took over the whole drawing, though, so I'm calling this one
No prob! I know, it's hard, at least for me, to pinpoint exactly what's wrong with someone's work. glockgal is fantastic at it! But she's super busy with Prophecy right now, so she's not around much to bug. :D
As for the nostril, it's right off a screen shot. ;D I spend more *&^%$ time searching through screen caps than I do actually drawing! RSL's got an odd nose. It's actually quite big, but doesn't really look that way. I tend to underdraw it, so i always make an effort to compensate.
and yeah, Wilsies' too short and a bit small here, but such is the fantasy of slash! :D :D :D
I would be happy to point some things out on this for you. I know many artists are sensitive about that sort of thing, though, which is why I rarely offer it (plus, it's much more difficult to "fix" a drawing than it is to fix a story, because in most cases, you have to draw the whole thing over again).
Actually, I was thinking it might not be a bad idea to do that on fanattack. Address those kinds of issues, I mean.
Fire away, baby! And don't be afraid to do a draw-over. I find them more useful that just talking about it sometimes.
there IS a great comm called artbeta but it's more for ...gee I'm drawing this and it looks fucked up, can someone help me? than an art autopsy, really.
And yeah, drawings aren't very fixable. I rarely go back and fix stuff after I finish, but that doesn't mean there wouldn't be lots of stuff to learn for next time!
