Oh, that does look like her, though you're right about aging her. She's such a doll. You know, you're still crazy young enough to try to add a little girl to the family. At least you'd have one kid with long hair that strangers wouldn't keep trying to cut.

No, I don't like mac and cheese that much, but I'm pretty fond of pb&j, so that should get us through! I've also held a gun to my parent's heads to make them start a college fund for the boys. $$$$$$

Oh, Tripper!! It's just gorgeous! Her little wispy hair and her chubby little cheeks. I don't think you aged her noticeably, and you captured the look on her face perfectly. It's just priceless!

Gorgeous little girl! Her hair's so cute!

You know, I tend to do the same. My bio homework actually helped me out with drawing a kid the other day for my genetics assignment, though. Kid's mouths are shaped different. The downward slop on the sides from the peak is more drastic and their mouths are generally less broad. They don't have the full, mature lips like we do, it's one of the few things that aren't proportional in their face to ours. I never realized that until then and when I redrew my assignment it changed the little boy from looking like he was 7 years old to about 3!

grrrr...I KNOW all these things, but that doesn't mean they transfer onto paper! I've drawn the same pic of my son a couple of times, at the age of around 2, and he's gotten 'younger' each time I've drawn it, I still haven't achieve that beautiful roundness that only babies possess!

Oh well, practice, practice, practice!
