My coffee doodle artses

It's not really a doodle, per se, but I carry my sketch pad around with me, and when I can sneak in a 10 min Tim Hortons foray, I sip my tea and draw. I used a reference for just the first initial sketch of this one, but pretty much everything here came from my twisted head.

And please, don't ask me what the hell Hagrid is wearing! I was thinking some sort of Bomber jacket type thingie, but it ended up more like an ugly furry housecoat with 80's shoulder pads. *snerk*

Oh, and I drew Harry with bare feet, because....erm....I'm pretty sure he would have lost his shoes at some point, and *cough* it has nothing to do with the fact that I CANNOT DRAW FOOTWEAR TO SAVE MY LIFE!

Thanks! This is the FIRST Hagrid that I've ever drawn that I've remotely liked. Perhaps, because I didn't use Movie!Hagrid as a reference. too much hair!! :D

As for the toes, I'm not sure why, but I positively SUCK at drawing shoes! Even with a reference. I did get a few stares at Tim Hortons, kicking off my sandals and twisting my feet around so that I could see what they should look like! :D

It's got to be ugly where Hagrid's outfits are concerned! Great job on his sorrowful face and that teary-but-stoic look. And that is ONE floppy Harry. Odd that. I don't believe I've ever seen a floppy Harry OR Snape from your pencil before!

*ahem*

Did Voldie henpeck him? I read through the end of that book so fast, that I think I missed a lot of stuff, and RL has been so crazy lately, that I haven't had time to read it again.

Noooes! Poor Hagrid. Him crying made me cry even though I was filled with "Narcissa is so AWESOME!" and glee at Harry playing sleeping lions at the time. And I like the coat.

Thank you! I soooo have to read the book again. I rushed through it too much to get upset. I didn't cry the first time DD died, but I did when I read it again. *silly twat!*
