My second Snarry Games pic turned out better than my first, I think. This one was all pencil, but I used a sepia filter on it, just to add some interest. As much as I love pastels, I REALLY love the tiny details that I can get with a pencil. That textured sleeve was a biach to draw!!

I agree! I don't generally screw with my stuff after I'm done, (other than fiddling with the brightness/contrast, due to my crappy photos) but for some reason, I thought I'd play with this one a bit.

With very few exceptions I love black and white much more than color. And pencil more than pastels. mieronna is one artist who seems to manage tiny, tiny detail and vivid color at the same time. I love the textured sleeve in this one (as you know) and the ring! *flails*

Yes, Mieronna uses coloured pencils, hence her ability to do detail. I also compensate by drawing things HUGE. (very helpful for certain parts of the anatomy!!!!)

Hm. True, but I think there's more to it though I'm not sure I'm expressing myself clearly. I think many artists substitute color for detail. Her color pieces and backgrounds are visually stunning and often more visually interesting than what is supposed to be the focal point of the piece. Though her black and white work is equally brilliant.

I already gave you my five, five, five rating back then and gushed over the picture but I have to do it again. This is just devine. The details, the look of both of them. Would you mind terribly if I used this pic in private for a fanfic cover? I won't change anything on the picture. Just add the title etc on it. I turn the most fabulous fanfics into ebooks and usually create a fake scholastic look alike jacket for it. I always feel like asking before doing stuff like that orrr even better would you maybe draw a pic for "The Marriage Stone" ? :makes puppy eyes: In case you haven't read the story yet (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3484954/1/The_Marriage_Stone). It is still a WIP but turning out to be better then HBP and DH combined. Absolutely up there with "Blood Magic" and The Civil War series only less angsty and with more background on poltics and wizard society.

As for drawing a title, December is a pretty crazy month, both on line and off, but I'll certainly take a look at that story. (I usually stay away from WIP, but I"m not reading anything else at the moment.)

Well you know what I mean LOL. I gave you a perfect mark ;-) Thank you for letting me use the art and it would be really, really great if you did something for Marriage Stone. I also stay away from WIPs normally but this story is already more then sixty chapters long (which means you will have quite a bit to read anyway) and Josephine updated on a weekly basis. Usually on the weekend and sometimes a couple of days later ifit is a tough chapter. Give it a try you won't be dissapointed =)
